Leaked information about Sony’s new PlayStation console, the PS5 Pro, has sparked great excitement in the gaming world. Shared by Dealabs Magazine, this much-rumored model promises significant improvements over the current PS5 and PS5 Slim. Here are the details of this new console…
PS5 Pro to be officially unveiled on September 10
The new console’s name has officially been confirmed as “PS5 Pro,” just as expected. Its design closely resembles the PS5 Slim, but with a few small differences. The front will feature two USB-C ports and a power button. The exterior will still be white, but with three black stripes in the center, resembling the Adidas logo. Additionally, the PS5 Pro is said to be slightly thicker than the PS5 Slim, and it’s anticipated that current PS5 Slim accessories will be compatible with the PS5 Pro.
Some versions of the PlayStation 5 Pro might come without a disc drive. Dealabs reports seeing images of a disc-less PS5 Pro design, though there’s no definitive information yet on whether there will be a version with a disc drive. If the disc drive is absent, this could be tied to Sony’s strategy to offer more competitive pricing. However, nothing is certain at this point.
No changes are expected in terms of the controller. The white DualSense controller that comes with the console will remain standard, as with the PS5 and PS5 Slim models. If you want to watch Sony’s presentation tomorrow, you can click here to go to the related YouTube page.
